One of my favorite movies is an oldie: "Ride the Pink Horse". This is what one of its posters looks like.
The title's pink horse refers to a carousel ride. So I believe the sign within movie poster that reads "RIDE THE PINK HORSE" is designed to look like a neon sign. It's a carnival ride.
The original Jurassic Park poster has the same design. The letters are a white background with red lines overlaid.
Do you think the Jurassic Park logo is supposed to look like a neon sign?
It's a theme park after all.
