Note: This is not actually about the movie per se, and there were no spoilers here.
About 10 minutes from the end of the movie, just as everything is wrapping up and settling down, right before the final pivotal moment plays, the sound cuts out. A few seconds later, the generic Cinemark advertisement audio starts playing. Everyone in the audience still sees the end of the movie, but it's overladen with just junk noise.
It kinda destroyed all the wonder and excitement of the ending, but, and it definitely sucked, but at least it's a little funny. Right?
Well, it would have been if it hadn't taken the theater until the credits stopped rolling to fix the mistake. During the process of them attempting to do so, the lights went up and then back down about five times, and we skipped around the final scenes of the movie for a good few minutes.
Like I said, totally ruined the tension of the ending. But hey, it's a funny story, right? A funny-bad story, but still.
