Just got back from a flight, and they had a sort of TV-edited version of the Predator reboot that redubbed "fuck" into "heck". I've never seen the original cut, but it was nonetheless a fucking hecking surreal experience. I wish there was a way to share some clips, but I can't really find any bits of this edit anywhere on the net. The closest thing I can find is this article, which confirms some of the changes I saw like "motherfucker" getting translated into a garbled mess.
However, the author claims that the f-bombs were untouched, implying that "fuck" wasn't edited into "heck". So what I saw might've, in fact, been a sanitized edit of an already sanitized edit.
Anyone else know what I'm talking about here?? I feel like a crazy person just thinking about it. And if not, what other kinds of bizarre TV-Edits have you seen?
