I remember hearing about this when it was released, but didn't get to see it until a few weeks ago. I know Eli Roth was basically making an homage to classic horror movies like Cannibal Holocaust.
It was good, certainly better than the source. Some of the scenes were unrealistic, but I guess that comes with the territory. I liked the protagonist and they certainly made the culture clash tangible.
The ending was pretty good too. I'll admit, I didn't realize there was a end credit scene, but I've heard about it after the fact, so heads to.
I'll say it was better than The Nun.
