It's actually a general question. I'm a young adult now and it seems things have switched up since High School. What was common back then, was that you'd get to know the person for a while before asking them out, and you'd "feel" or "know" the right time to ask. Depending on how you clicked with them, that time could be 2 weeks or 2 months.
NOW I'm hearing that as adults, if you're interested in someone, you should ask them out ASAP. Like even the first 10 minutes of meeting them. Tbh, that doesn't sound realistic unless you and that person both seem to be super compatible and/or really attracted to each other. Even making casual friendships takes time, so wouldn't you have to get to know them first? So confused. Which way is the right way?
