Yesterday I posted this article to r/movies: https://www.reddit.com/r/movies/comments/bjxci9/the_fetishization_of_space_jam_how_lola_bunny/
The subject matter seemed pertinent to the sub because it's an analysis of an interesting sub-culture in relation to a specific movie. Many people seemed to agree, as the post generated over 500 upvotes and spurred some really interesting discussion. For some reason the post has now been shadow banned from r/movies. I received no notification and no reasoning why. As far as I can tell, no rules were broken. Why would the mods possibly do this?
EDIT: To clarify, if I broke a rule without realizing it, that's fine. I'd just like to be pointed to the rule that was broken. Otherwise, removing a highly upvoted post that's still generating active, polite discussion seems completely against the spirit of reddit and what I thought this sub was supposed to be.
