Say what you will about Blum house and thier movies but I will always stand by them and I hope some of you do as well. Don't get me wrong they have some movies that should have went straight to DVD. But what I love about this company is they allow creativity in its purists form. Directors have the ability to be creative and pursue a movie however they like. Coming from a Arts Major I love that. Yes we get some movies that flop but it also gives us movies like Paranormal Activity, Happy Death Day and The Gallows. I love almost all the horror movies they put out because I know they had fun doing it with a low budget you dont have producers breathing down your neck. Jason Blum is one of the best business men I have ever seen always getting involved in a movie he sees potential in. I love serious scary movies like Hereditary (A master piece), Susperia and I'm sure Mid Sommer will blow my mind but to see small budget scary movies make it to the big screen will always hold a place in my heart!
