overall ranking

Jurassic Park 8.9/10 ( superb film with a few MINOR weak points, thats all that needs to be said really )
The Lost World : Jurassic Park 8.4/10 (is a the best follow up and the only film that feel like a Jurassic park sequel, not a practical sense everything improved from the first film, however some errors in the story telling brings the movie down, in my honest opinion if the movie got is story telling right it might have dethrone JP 1 ,if you want to read how i try to correct these flaw click on this link https://www.reddit.com/r/JurassicPark/comments/b510g0/i_rewatched_the_lost_world_and_also_some/)
Jurassic World 7.5/10 ( fun popcorn film , not much else really, weak leads ... dr henry wu and mr masrani where the only interesting characters, but they are played by two fantastic actors )
Jurassic Park 3 7/10 (weak but not terrible considering the problems of pre production we could have got MUCH worse
Jurassic World Fallen Kingdom 6.3/10 ( just unacceptable, except J.A Bayona directing which is the only highlight)

story/ plot

Jurassic park (what do you expect both Crichton and kooep wrote this movie)
the lost world (intriguing plot while basic compared to Jurassic park, it's still delivers, however not much character growth )
Jurassic world (again nothing much in terms of a interesting plot, basic a Frankenstein monster movie)
Jurassic park 3 ( weak but serviceable once not comparing to 1 and 2 and looking at it as it's own thing)
fallen kingdom ( tries to do two movies in one , and fails badly)

writing and dialogue

Jurassic park ( 'Yeah, yeah, but your scientists were so preoccupied with whether or not they could, that they didn't stop to think whether they should'.)
the lost world (' Peter, if you want me to run your little camping trip, there are two conditions: first, I'm in charge, and when I'm not around, Dieter is. All you have to do is sign the checks, tell us we're doing a good job, and open your case of scotch when we have a good day. Second condition: my fee? You can keep it. All I want in return for my services is the right to hunt one of the tyrannosaurs. A male, a buck only. How and when is my business. . Jurassic world ( Monster is a relative term. To a canary, a cat is a monster. We're just used to being the cat. )
Jurassic park 3 ( no real notable lines of dialogue)
fallen kingdom ( goes from mediocre to flat out terrible)

Direction

the lost world ( Spielberg really step up his game in this one so many great moving and tracking shots)
fallen kingdom ( not as noticeable as lost world but has some nice sequences)
Jurassic park ( remains a little static sometimes but not bad)
Jurassic park 3 (camera movements are really of sometimes like the Spino attack on the plane)
Jurassic world ( like Jurassic park its quite static but a lot more so when characters do move the camera freezes and we get the classic cut ,cut , cut

Cinematography

the lost world ( wonderful from Janusz Kamiński , no wonder why Spielberg kept him)
Jurassic park ( Dean Cundey's candy like imagery helps with the awe factor but isn't as impactful as lost world)
fallen kingdom ( ja bayona knows his stuff , the movie is very good looking)
Jurassic world ( tries to emulate Dean Cundey style but has less than half the charm)
Jurassic park 3 ( is a very grey dull looking film)

Original score

the lost world ( while not a memorable as jp , it a lot more complex, one of his best but RoTS is still the best )
Jurassic park ( quite simple but effective as hell)
Jurassic park 3 ( don davis finds it hard to get out of jw shadow but when he does he creates some very good themes)
Jurassic world (alright, feels a bit superficial at time. and above average)
Fallen kingdom (raiders of the lost isla nublar is the only real stand out)

Sound mixing and design

the lost world (again lost world really ups the ante on the original, watch making of jurassic park and finding the lost world, really highlights how the crew learnt and improved from the last movie)
Jurassic park ( iconic sounds for the dinosaurs)
Jurassic world ( this is where it start to get a bit meh really, but a nice sound for the idom rex )
Jurassic park 3( same with the spino)
Fallen kingdom ( nothing really note worthy)

casting

Jurassic park ( inspired casting of sam ,Laura , Jeff, bob peck ,NEWMAN, and of course richard attenbrough)
The lost world ( fantastic casting, pretty much same level as jp 1)
Jurassic world ( casting for mr masrani was good everything else was serviceable really)
Jurassic park 3 (considering all the actor's where suppose to play different characters 6 week before shooting except sam and laura , id say the actor pulled it off and William h macey is always a win
Fallen kingdom ( differently felt there was much thought put into casting, Toby Jones, James Cromwell, rafe spall and ted levine are all good actor but they feel way to obvious options for the roles they where given)

Special effects ( and usage of CGI)

The lost world (the practical affect look amazing again Stan Winston learnt a lot from the first movie and don't get me started on the juvenile tyrannosaur)
Jurassic park ( from 1993 it was very good, again i applaud you to watch the making of jurassic park and finding the lost world)
Fallen kingdom( sensory fucking overload of cgi , this comes to mind your affects team were so preoccupied with whether or not they could, that they didn't stop to think whether they should' , too reliant of CGI but at least has a few scenes of practical effects )
Jurassic park 3 ( some of the animals are very clunky)
Jurassic world (again too reliant on CGI)
