While I do really love Kevin Spacey's performance as John Doe from "Seven" and Javier Bardem's performance as Anton Chigurh in "No Country For Old Men" (Which I find genuinely intimidating), I'll have to go for Christian Bale's performance in "American Psycho" but barely as the other do pretty amazing. He does a absolutely amazing job and I don't think anyone could've had done it better. It's my favorite performance of his. I wasn't all that impressed with his acting in Christopher Nolan's Batman Trilogy and I think he does a better job playing a villian or maybe it's because he gets hold back in these films. In this film, it doesn't seem like it at all. He gives a lot of life and personality to his character and there are some very nice subtleties to his acting, which I find the total of most of his performance were his acting feels kinda wooden (well, except for "The Prestige". He does really great there.) It's one of my favorite performances ever. Also, pretty great movie. Now, which portrayal of a serial killer would be your favorite?
