I am trying to create a list of a very specific type of movie. I’ve had no luck with Google as I’m really even sure how to concisely search them.
Basically, I’m looking for movies that are adaptations of stories that exist in other movies/stories.
For example: The Cat Returns is a movie about the book that the protagonist is writing in Whisper of the Heart. Buzz Lightyear of Star Command was a TV movie that exists within the world of Toy Story.
Does anyone else know any other movies like this?
