Hi there, I just watched the Irishman on Netflix and I liked it. For me it was the only Mafia movie that I sort of understood. Which brings me to my question. What do people like about Mafia movies, like the Godfather and Goodfellas. I never really understood them, or the story they are trying to tell. I like them cinematically and the acting is great but what it amazing about them? Hopefully you guys can help me better understand them so that I appreciate them more.
