I had always thought Team America: World Police was Trey Parker and Matt Stone's least clever effort. Even Orgasmo for how dumb it was had a clever plot line with the Mormon that can't have sex making porn. To me TA felt like they put in all of the time trying to do silly shit with the puppets and none into writing story or jokes. The same goes for this scene in Team America, where a character who hates actors talks about seeing Cats for the first time. I always thought it was a just a poor effort poking jabs at the silly names but after being made to watch Sir Ian go at a milk saucer full tongue like he was deep in his boyfriends b-hole I get why they specifically used that musical. There is so much furry fan play and innuendo in the show that those actors probably have more than a few furballs in their respective litter boxes. I haven't witnessed a more bizarre spectacle at the movies in a while and it's beyond crazy that they were gonna give this series of Barbie crotch close ups an Oscar run. That being said I can not recommend this Crime Against Theater Screens but I'm glad I understand Team America just a little more.
