So after Marta confesses to Ransom he knows she is innocent and that it was a suicide. He says he wants a cut and he also knows that she will receive the money and thus his cut. Why would he pursue his plan to frame her and get his cut that way instead of just receiving his cut from her? I must have missed something but rewatched the ending and still didn't understand it.
