I have been involved in a lot of fandoms over the years but the most recent one I became a part of has REALLY got me down about online communities, and fandoms in general.
I'm not necessarily looking for a new community but I'd love to hear some counter examples so I can be a bit more diligent next time around.
Fandom horror stories are welcome too, especially if used to contrast a good one!
