Mine is a toss up between Dunkirk and The Hurt Locker. I wasn't a fan of the "war hero" style film of American Sniper. I prefer it when it's less bias and gray. What I loved about The Hurt Locker is how nothing major happens throughout the movie. It's just "This is what daily life is like as a bomb disposable unit." It almost felt like a documentary.
What about you?
