Sam Mendes has made everything from romantic dramas to spy thrillers to war films. Which of his movies do you prefer and why?
1917 is my favorite. I love how he was essentially able to bring World War 1 to life, and with such beautiful cinematography courtesy of Roger Deakins. Honestly, I wish it had won Best Picture and Best Director.
