In an apocalyptic scenario, food and fresh water are the most obvious forms of currency. Beyond that, though, what items are actually valuable enough to matter once society shuts down?
The most obvious ones I can think of are medicine, tobacco, and guns/ammo. What else would be considered valuable enough to barter with in that scenario?
