Is it ok for restaurants to give leftover food of a customer to other customers if both parties agree?

If this is the case, fuck paying a bill, I’m gonna be walking around asking other diners for their leftovers if they don’t want to take it home. Otherwise it just goes in the trash. I would just be doing everyone a favor right?
