I watched the following scenes from movies late night (probably while studying), so I remember only these snippets:
- During the civil war, some militar graduates are swearing oath to the Union. But some students start standing up and leaving the room, since they are with the Confederacy.
- This one was about a (british) soldier that is sent to an african country to fight in a war. He shots a rifle and burns his eye. I think he was captured afterward.
- This is about some british young boys (I remember them upper class) who are sent to WW2. The father of one of the young men does not want him to go to war, because he himself went to WW1. The young man goes and returns blind. He later suicides by drowning himself in a lake.
Anyone can locate the scenes in a film? They were surely mid--budget/direct for TV so I have not been able to find them.
