Alright, I haven't seen this movie since I was around 5 or 6 (23 now) so I do apologise in advance for the vague information I've got.
So from what I can remember, there is a kid and his parents they're in their house, something happens where he passes out or gets put in frozen stasis, and wakes up and his parents are gone (presumably in the future) everything is white/snowy and he's really upset he couldn't find them, then he spots one or two silvery/white slender humanoids come towards him extending their arms to get him or comfort him?
After that point I was too scared by the humanoids things to watch any further so that's all I've got.
Once again, sorry for the vague description but this has always been a reoccurring memory and I can never find it no matter how much I search.
