okay so i'm going crazy. it's almost 2 AM, dead silent outside apart from someone occasionally coughing, and the most cloying stench of bbq sauce is permeating everything.
i fell asleep about an hour ago and there was no smell. then suddenly i awoke to this stench. at first it smelled like an old uncleaned litterbox for a cat. then i thought it smelled like burnt rubber. now, the stench has settled on bbq sauce.
it's so overpowering that i can't fall back asleep and it's stinging my nostrils. pulling the covers over my head works to keep it out but the bedroom window is broken and it is through there it wafts inside. i actually first thought something was burning so i went up and looked through the apartment, but no. everything's fine. the stench is felt only in bedroom and bathroom, where windows are slightly open and both windows face towards the same side of the building.
is there some crazy strain of weed that smells like this? what is causing everything to smell like really bad bbq sauce?! help please
