There is a scene. In this movie, that is scary as hell. Not really a scene. But a moment. A screenshot, if you will.
Idk if Disney did this intentionally. But there is a moment when Aladdin is trying to explain to Sultan and Jasmine why he’s been hiding Iago at the palace. Aladdin says, “Iago’s not all that bad”.
The VERY next cut, is dead center on the sultan’s face. And for a split second, before his facial expression changes, he looks utterly DEMONIC. From the moment the scene cuts to his face, to the moment after he says “not all bad?”
Now obviously I’m a grown adult now and this would no longer frighten me. But I saw this shit as a little kid. And that shit was scary ASF! Does ANYONE else remember this? Anyone else? LOL
