As the title suggests I am coming to all of you for advice on what movies I should watch for my history class. My instructor has told me over the course of our class we will be writing 3 reports about different American history events and she doesn’t want us to use the general textbook approach to getting our information, she instead wants us to watch documentaries or movies based off true stories for our information and then we will compare what we found out to our actual textbooks. The 3 reports are over 3 separate eras:
- 1877 to World War 1 but no civil war
- 1920 to World War 2
- Post World War 2 to present day
Each report has to focus on the American side of each era and not dwell on the other countries involved (I was going to write my first one over They Shall Not Grow Old but with that being about the British she told me no) Any help would be greatly appreciated from you all and thank you a ton in advance!
