The first time I saw an unexpected journey I was impressed, it seemed to get worse and worse with every movie. But there are worthy moments in each movie, I feel that it is unfairly compared to the greatest trilogy of all time (LOTR) . Obviously the CGI is terrible, nobody argues that, but Martin Freeman is unbelievable as bilbo, and he makes the movies have more staying power, I’ve rewatched all 3 several times and there are moments that make it worth watching. There is a great movie somewhere in all 3 movies, it’s a shame that everyone rights the entire trilogy of as bad.
