After highschool my friend moved to the US and it just so happens to be this year with covid and he's a bit unsocial. In the 10 months that he's been living there he hasn't made any friends and has basically become a hermit. I've tried to convince him to go out and meet people and he says that he won't do it. He's probably nervous and sacred of going outside and I tell him what's he got to lose if he goes outside and he tells me that he'll lose dignity. I don't know how to convince him to get out of his hole. I mean it's been 10 months the dude needs to go outside. Pls I need some help.
