Only Starfleet has an integrated society of multiple species and cultures.
On any given Starfleet ship, or Earth, you’ll see members of multiple planets and species.
But on every other ship/planet it’s only ever the one species. You never see anything other than Vulcans on a Vulcan ship and you’ll never see Bajorans on a Klingon ship or Humans on an Andorian ship.
It’s like every other species is xenophobic and it’s only Human ships that always have many other species around.
I’m not calling for inclusivity at all, just something I realized.
