Proposal for the definition of art: “The acts and creations of the human spirit brought into being through its attempts to alleviate the inevitable suffering of the universal human spirit through self-expression.”

PS I don’t expect this to settle the issue and I know I’m no expert & my perspective is limited by my experiences but that’s what art is to me
