Technological unemployment is real, and it's coming. Best case scenario, we all collect UBI and barter artisanal pickles while giant Roombas do all of our farming and manufacturing. Worst case scenario, we all work for Mega Fulfillment Warehouse One.
Either way, conventional antibiotics are well past diminishing gains and on the way out. Likewise, a lot of our daily problems will either be solved well enough (ex: hammer designs as an end stage technology) or managed by AI.
