I was thinking about LOTR Return of the King and how Pippin lights the beacon of Amon Din. Then all the beacons are lit across many mountains. I’m thinking that each mountain pyre had a whole family dedicated to it, right? The only thing that family did was light the beacon as needed. If they had passports it would say, ‘Mountain beacon lighter’.
