Today I was looking for something to watch and randomly came across Dave made a Maze and after reading the description I decided to watch it.
The art style was gorgeous and the sets were really inspired, not to mention I thought the actors were pretty good (even though I'm a bit biased because I've seen Nick Thune's stand-up before and loved it). And plot-wise, the whole film felt like a grand yet whimsical/light-hearted adventure.
Also, I couldn't find the exact budget online, but the movie seems like proof that indie filmmakers can overcome budgetary constraints with creativity (and hard work).
If you haven't watched it, it's on Hulu and I recommend giving it a shot. And if you have seen it, what did you think?
