My father and I saw a few minutes of a film several years ago on what I think was IFC, that has been kind of an inside joke for us. I was looking to get him the full thing for Christmas but cannot for the life of me find any content about it, and we never figured out the name of it. Here is what we remember:
1) The scenes were entirely black and white, and people seemed to be dressed in older clothing, wide brim hats, vests, suspenders, etc. 2) The first scene was of what I think was a wedding where two men are dancing together, the shorter of the two repeating over and over "I love you, Dad. I love you, Dad. I love you, Dad." 3) The second scene the dad, who seemed like he was a hasidic jew (or at least dressed like one) goes to use an outhouse and has a very difficult bathroom episode. As he continues, more and more people crowd around the outhouse until the scene climaxes, the dad finishes, the people cheer, and the outhouse explodes. 4) My father thinks that Richard Benjamin (from WestWorld) was in the movie, but I'm not 100% on that.
I've checked all over and I'm not able to find anything about this movie, so if anyone could give me any hints that would be amazing!
