Why do they release so many big movies so close together? In 35 days, starting on May 4th, the following movies are scheduled to be released.
Avengers Infinity War Solo a Star Wars Story Deadpool 2 Oceans 8 Incredibles 2 Jurassic World 2 Ant-Man 2
And they wonder why the box office is down.
I think the same thing for the end of year/awards season releases. Very little was released in the two weeks before Star Wars but 10-20 awards contenders are coming out now.
