Rewatching Batman vs Superman and I have to say, I love they used real networks and news anchors to tell the story (drfinit ly not the first to do so, just the first that made me post.)
It is such a seamless integration into the fantasy that it really helps to build the world. It lends credibility to everything that comes across and adds a richness to the story that may be missed if you weren’t already informed about the people and their roles. I’m sure it’ll have much less an impact to people that don’t feel themselves inundated with those particular personalities, but for those of us that are used to it I think it really is an excellent piece of cultural adhesive between ourselves and these fantasies.
