I've been searching for a movie I saw as a kid and all I can seem to remember is that the story revolved around a group of young kids and at the end of the movie there were a bunch of fairies (regular human sized) in a forest floating around in bubbles with happy/magical music.
It was in full color and a live action movie. It was probably made some time in the late 80s and from what I can recall seemed to have sort of a Never Ending Story or Dark Crystal type of visual style.
Any ideas? Thank you!
