At the beginning of this film I wasn't sure if I was going to continue to watch it or not. It seemed like I wasn't going to be able to make a connection with the people telling their story. As it went on it got more interesting. When she asked her father what he had said to her mother in the private moments while she was dying, I knew I was invested because it made me cry like a baby. Effective filmmaking.
