I recently saw "Call Me By Your Name" and it was absolutely breathtaking! One of the reasons I enjoyed it was seeing 1983 Italy with its classical vibe filled with narrow streets, bright colours and grassy fields.
Other movies where the location plays such a pivotal role in immersing the audience is "City of God"; Brazil's favelas come to life with it's sprawling colours and haunting nature. I also really enjoyed the world created in Spike Jonze's "Her" as it's a very creative take on the near future with subtle changes and creative choices that really set it apart from the rest.
Could you guys suggest me some movies where the cinematic worlds are as important and beautiful as the movies listed?
