Since that would be awesome and we'd get to see some of the shit adaptations be remade.
Since all of his books are in some way connected, they could just include Easter eggs that relate in some, with overt references to specific movies in others.
Honestly, it would be cool if they made a Dark Tower series as the spine of the whole thing with other movies sort of "branching off."
I am guessing that in some point in humanity's future-history they will do something like this, but they should totally do it when he's still alive. For creative input and all that.
