I truly think the real reason Will Smith's character 'J' was chosen to be part of the MiB was because he used the table to complete his test.

This thought has been reoccurring for 20 years now.

Yeah, J 'chased down a cephalopod on foot' but his display of common sense in that room with those other candidates was what really set him apart.

A room of seemingly highly-qualified recruits and 'your boy Captain America' but none of them were wise enough to use a flat surface to take a written test.

There's intellect and then there's wisdom.

I don't know, MiB was recently added to Netflix and it's the first thing I thought of.

Anyone else ever think about that?
