Please do not let this devolve into a partisan, political argument. With the latest discussions on increased gun control, one of the options described is to raise the age for purchasing a firearm. The 2nd amendment, by way of Supreme Court decision, grants the right of gun ownership. If the age to exercise that right is raised to 21, then doesn't that open the door to raising the age to exercise other constitutional rights? And even a larger question, at what age are the rights outlined in the constitution applicable? Isn't it a slipperly slope to apply age limits to constitutional rights?
