There are a handful of movies I've noticed are hard for me to watch after seeing them the first time. I loved watching them, and recommended them whenever I get a chance, but they usually bring me down so much after watching them that it's hard to watch again.
Particularly Grave of the Fireflies and the Green mile.
Both movies in my opinion are incredible, very emotional, and beautifully shot and written. And because I know how it plays out, it's hard for me to watch again because I know how sad I will feel after watching it again.
Grave of the Fireflies really doesn't pull any punches when talking about the realities of living during wartime, and the despair of it all. The music I'm the movie actually brought me to tears, and I still enjoy hearing it.
Green Mile is so well acted, and genuinely heartbreaking to watch as someonewho was gentle and misunderstood is put on death row, and nothing anyone can do can stop it.
Either for personal, emotional, or physical. Are their any movies that you personally feel is incredible, but you can't bring yourself to watch again.
