What are some movies you didn’t have high expectation going into but ended up loving?
For me it was Pierrot le Fou. Before, the only other Godard films I had seen were Breathless and Goodbye to Language. To be honest, neither did much for me all though I could appreciate them. I wanted to give Godard another chance so I watched Pierrot le Fou on Filmstruck. I didn’t have high hopes going in but ended up loving it. The cinematography is what really sold it for me.
What are some movies for which you’ve had a similar experience?
