Any appreciation for this movie? Hard to believe it's been almost 10 years.
I'm rewatching it right now, and it's such a bizarre movie. There are multiple great performances, like Michael C. Hall's genius egomaniac villain portrayal. The storyline was fresh. Well thought out, if not ridiculous. Arguably it's a pretty complex story, and the film is more about keeping a madman from replacing our genetic cells with his companies branded cells.
Oh yeah, visually stunning film. The costume designers did an awesome job, especially in Society. The sets were also crazy! Like that nightclub scene.
Second Life anyone??
Some of the stunts were crazy awesome as well, like the dump truck / truck scene was something you'd see out of a Nolan film with a much larger budget.
If you skipped this film, I highly recommend it, especially if you're stoned.
