Okay, so I understand the whole point of what they did. Calvin wouldnt bat an eye if they offered $300 for a slave, but if they offered $12 000 for this super slave it would peak his interest. Now, why the hell couldn't they just give more for Djangos wife from the beginning? They surely had the money, they had been bounty hunting all winter. Like, why the hell couldn't they just offer to buy Djangos wife from the start!?
