Consider me shocked that Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom was actually pretty good. Anyone else totally surprised this didn't suck?

Wow.

It's....quite a bit better than the first Jurassic World, which I thought was absolutely forgettable.

In fact, the final 45 minutes or so of this one were, dare I say it....good. I mean, how many times can these dinosaurs attack people? They found a way to make it pretty tense and fun. I'm downright impressed with the final 45 minutes.

The first hour was less interesting. A couple neat things, but not much of worth.

With hindsight, I basically hated the first Jurassic World. A definite D or D-.

This was a C+ if I'm being strict, a solid B if I'm being generous. The last 45 minutse was a definite B or B+. The opening really pulls this movie down.

1. Jurassic Park - the only truly great one.
2. Jurassic World 2 - hey, it's the best sequel
