Then he stumbles upon bitcoin and cryptocurrencies unknowingly in 2010 through some friends, buys some drugs online with it as his life continues to spiral out of control, and he has a few hundred bitcoin at 10 cents a piece in change leftover and forgets about it.
Fast forward to 2013 when the price goes up to 1000 usd per coin and he remembers that he had a few hundred from late 2010, and starts to push his luck with his life decisions and this sudden influx of cash, then gets caught in 2014 in the squeeze when MT GOX crashes and bitcoin crashes to 200 usd, and hes right back down to earth again, only now with a bit of debt from cars and houses he can no longer afford.
Then fast forward to 2016 - 2017 when he is worth hundreds of millions and is a completely different person, alpha male success jerk walking on water all over the world as a cutting edge internet genius with all the girls and famous friends
A roller coaster of elation and despair as dreams are realized and destroyed within hours.
