Hi there. Long story short. I have worked at my current position for a year and a half. My company has 5 upper level employees including myself and just brought on 2 new "lower level" employees (not sure how to word that. I dont want to be disrespectful they're just as important as we are just with less "power). Anyway for the first 6 months, my coworker (mid 50s wife and kid) would ask me (mid twenties long term bf everyone knows about and has met) to drinks at least once a week or would randomly call me after work because he was bored. I would always say no to drinks and when hed call I'd ask if it was about work and if it wasnt I'd tell him I was busy. Eventually he stopped asking me out and calling but still texts me around once an hour if hes out of the office asking me what's going on and how everything is going. Long story short, last year we were at a conference together with customers and he tried holding my hand and I pulled away. Everyone was drinking and I brushed it off. Never brought up again. He is always talking about how hot these girls he meets are and how oh the girls are out looking for me tonight and I dont even know how to respond. I'm his co worker and a female and hes married with a family. I dont find it appropriate. Next on my list is the fact he can bitch and moan about how much stuff he has to do and there's not enough time in the day while he sits on his computer and watches videos/makes personal calls. He asks me for help to do his tasks . For example I HELP him process new hires. Takes me about 20 min a new employee. I do this for him if hes out of the office. He asked me to help him yesterday and I said I couldn't because I was training new employees. I thought he would do his work himself. Today he hands me 6 people to process for him and told me to do them when I found time. He does not think before he speaks. He has lied about me to the president of our company about me being un happy with new responsibilities. He told the president I was near tears because I didn't want new roles. Absolutely false. Talked to the president immediately and my co worker got his ass chewed out for it by the president. I want to say something to the president or CEO about the incessant talking/texts/pawning bitch work off on me but we share an office 40 hours a week and I feel trapped. Any advice?
