To keep it short and sweet, my mum was born in '67 to a 15 year old mother. She was put in an adoption centre in Sheffield and adopted by my Nan & Grandad at a young age. Adoption records and dovuments are currently missing, but may be found it we get into this.
After years of mum being undecided on whether to attempt trying to locate her Mum, my Nan has encouraged my mum and would also like to meet her.
My mum is technologically illiterate, I have to do everything computer based for her. I will be likely leading this, so my question for r/ask is; How would I go about tracking down my mum's mum? Any feedback appreciated, especially anyone who has done this before.
