I posted something for sale on Craigslist this morning, and within a half hour I had two replies. After trading a couple texts with each, it was blatantly obvious they were both scammers. 1: “I’ll send you a certified check with an extra amount for a delivery truck, you pay them when they come”. 2: “I’ll wire the money to you, just give me your bank account info”. In both cases they vanished when I said cash only. So, how can a person turn the tables and scam the scammer?
