Are there any movies that look like they came out in another decade than they really did, due to cinematography, production values, etc.?
The 40 Year Old Virgin is a good, funny movie, don't get me wrong but I couldn't help but notice it has that grey-ish look where it seems like even in the daytime scenes look like their taking place in the evening that seemed to be popular in a lot of comedies back in the late 90's (for example American Pie, EdTV, and Mystery Men).
If I had looked at a still from the movie, I would've thought it had come out in the late 90's. Only reason I know that's not the case is because Seth Rogen and Jonah Hill are in it. And I remember it coming out in the 2000's.
What are some examples for you for movies that look like they came out in another decade?
