I just watched this movie again. It's one of the most beautifully shot movies of the last years, every single image is breathtaking. You really feel cold just watching the snowy forests.
But I also have to stay it dragged a lot. The first hour is really amazing and has good pacing. But after that it went downhill for me. I thought the movie was about 20 minutes too long. I didn't like the 'hallucinations' of Glass, they made the movie slow and didn't really add much.
It also got kinda repetitive with the whole movie having Leo grunting and screaming while trying to survive. I thought his acting was good but it didn't really help giving him a lot of character development. Tom Hary was really really good.
All in all I have to say it's a decent movie but the ridiculous release hype made you think it was way better than it ended up being. What do you think?
